Well tonight I had the most fun I ever had in night with this car. I got off work on went up Woodward for a ride. It started with a stop at a light and a V6 Altima pulls up. He revs his engine and the light changes. I blew him away. At the next light he pulls up and revs again. This time a Grand Prix GTP wants to join in. The light changes and my rearend break loose and I shoot off on both of them. The Altima even beat the GTP. At the next light the guys in the Altima give me a thumbs up and take off. Later on Wooward a bunch of Imports come up around me. I start roasting my tires at the light to get their attention. The light changes and again I toast them. I am having a lot of fun now. I stop later to talk to the kids with the Imports and they are all over the MM. Nice kids. Later on my way home I'm going down 8 mile and a Mustang GT wants to run. He has two other people in the car. The light changes and I can't believe how bad I beat him. I did it three times. He could not believe it. He pulls up says,"You must have some work done to that engine, it is too fast". I said "no, it is stock engine". He smiles and and heads off. I am so glad people believe what they read in the magazines. Man I love this car.

I had a Jeep Cherokee that wanted to run tonight. I must admit I am still confused by that one. Either way, I showed taillights.

You know what? EVERY time I drive Chicago's tollbooths (haven't had the need for an IPass yet as it's mostly in the past that I would do this) I have at least one Cherokee trying to beat me out of the gate.

I wonder what these people were told, but the person in charge of marketing should be promoted.

Cool story Bigslim. That ill show those Mustang guys......as far as these Jeep Cherokee's, there must be some Cherokee internet board or something, because a few weeks ago a guy in a Cherokee challenged me too. It was on the highway, and I smoked em there, and then he got off at the same exit ramp that i did, and when I stopped for the first traffic light, he gets in the lane beside me, and starts loading up his torque converter to run again!!! I couldn't believe that guy. Needless to say, that when the light turned green, I was gone......no contest....

Your making us proud Bigslim! Lining 'em up and knocking 'em down in a mildly modified Marauder.

Its the soccer-moms in SUVs on cell phones around here you want to watch out for. I don't even try to race them. They are a tenacious breed, just look at the pile of kids they have to deal with day-in and day-out. They will eventually catch you in traffic, cut you off and then slam on their brakes. Nothing worse than a soccermom scorned. Even the PD look the other way...

Well, he must have beat an Accord, and he knows an Accord can beat a Marauder :)

He's probably thinking of dumping the Cherokee and picking up a Marauder. He just wanted to see the "art of the possible".
