My Wife,My Life

At 1:30AM last nite my daughter woke me up saying theres something wrong with mom.Let me give everyone a small histroy of Linda.In 1990 at age 37 Linda had a heartattack that left her only half of a working heart,They said she would only live about five years,well its been fifthteen years of ups and downs and wheres shes at right now is 28% use of her heart with the aid of a pacer.Last nite all of a sudden she got very sick and was showing signs of a stroke so we called 911.The Harrison Twp. EMS were there in notime flat,Worked on her got her over to Mt.Clemens Gen. and got her stableized.She is now in ICU being treated by the best they have,This is good.What the problem is they think is that one of the leads on her pacer is not working or has come loose or that her heart is just giving up.Because of other health problems she can`t get on a transplant list she is just to sick.Linda is a very strong willed person and has made it back time after time and I pray she makes it back agian.I am writing this to get it out my system.Pray for Linda my fellow Marauders.I am nothing without her.

I KNOW how you feel. My first wife, also named Linda, of 25 years fought Crohn's Disease gallantly for most of her adult life. She was in the hospital over and over for many years and finally the Lord took her in 2000 and I thought I would not survive it. Don't ever give up and stay by her side and don't let those medical bastids get to you!!!

Keep us updated on her condition for our prayers.

Liz, my wife, has been fighting Lupus since she was 4 years old.
I have been supporting her fight for the last 20 years, and there have been many times,
her flare ups were too great for her to take, and she wished it would all end.
Yet she is still here to keep me and our son "in line"...

There is a vacancy there for my wife too, yet she doesn't see the need to fill it yet.
I'm sure Linda doesn't see the need either. She still has a lot of unfinished work.

Linda is still in ICU but has made some improvement.I am taking it day by day.Her heart only works at 28% with the aid of her Pacer and everytime she goes through this(She has been out of the Hosp.for two years this time)it makes her heart a little weaker.How much more can she take? I don`t know she is a very strong woman.The people who know Linda have a saying about her"The Lord don`t want her(yet)and the Devil can`t catch her" I hope this holds true many more times.Thank you everyone for your support.I will update as things change.

Linda had a good day today,She sat up for almost an hour and liquids are staying down she is realy alert.We watched the Lions kick the Texans butts on the telly.If she stays this way tonite they are going to move her out of ICU and put her in a Telimetry unit.Bottom line though is the heart is still weak so it will take time.Thanks everbody for your support.I will update when we have changes. :type:
