I would like to see a hood for the Marauder much like this...

Too bad they aren't interested in making anything for the Marauder...
They ARE extremely reasonable, and the Air Intake REALLY works...

If you pay, and I will put one on my car!

These hoods are not the $2500 hoods you think they are.
They are made of Carbon Fiber and they are lighter and stronger than the aluminum hood we have now.
The Stalker Hood with the underhood RAM AIR kit should sell for less than $1k.
Only some slight modifications are needed for the Air Box.

Its just too bad that the boys at Cervinin's, although they LOVE the Marauder,
aren't interested in creating a hood or body kit for it.

Agreed! And, the S****t P*****t needs a custom hood.

Looks similiar to this:

Racerx88 is that your car?

I like it but, the scoop looks like it might a little to far back on the hood.
Do you know what kind of scoop it is?

The hood scoop is for looks or functional ?

As expansive as the MM hood is, I think some vents like on the Austin Martin Vanquish or a cowl induction would look better IMO. Maybe an '03/'04 SVT Cobra style hood would be cool.

Yes it's my car. That's a modified Mustang hood scoop mounted with 3M emblem tape. No it's not functional, it's just for looks.

Scoops nice, but the that front end with those driving lights would look good!!!!!

I wish our hoods were aluminum, but unfortunately they are steel...

I think a lot about aerodynamics :grad: and the GT40 hood design takes advantage of the venturi effect to reduce underhood pressure. Scoops look gaudy to me :pimp: and if I wanted to scoop air into the engine there's plenty of that to be had at the cowl area with no modifications to the hood or built into an air dam under the bumper for that matter. GT40 style "unscoops" might be OK looking because they don't look "tacked on" which is the reason I don't like the spoiler either. For me this car screams out style and function so it breaks down like this:
Mustang hood scoop; style -2, function +1
GT40 "unscoop"; style ?, -1,0,+1 (need to see it first), function +2
Air dam ducts; style +1, function +2
"Spinner" Wheel Covers; style -10, function, non-sequiter

Agreed. They should do this. A 3" cowl hood with a NACA duct intake. I sure would like something like this on the S****t P*****t.

So, has He Whose Name We Do Not Speak asked Scott where he had his hood made up?

IIRC the 1998 P71 ( Crown Victoria - Police ) had an aluminum hood ( and trunk lid ). *Maybe other early late-model years as well (?????).

The look-and-fit is an exact match.

Are you sure? Do you have part numbers and pricing?

The owner did the paint himself.....and it shows, imo.

Makes ground effects kits and hoods for F-150's, Expeditions, Mustangs, etc.
Maybe they could make a hood for the Marauder?

I'm 100% sure on the trunk lid ( know someone who purchased a used 1998 CVPI ).

However, the parts lists that I have do not note two part #s. Probably meaning ( which I strongly believe ) that they're not available from FoMoCo; the quest for the holy hood / trunk lid would have to be scouring salvage yards. These may be unobtainium parts.

*Have often wondered what the weight savings would be.
