Well, I definitely could do better in Algebra II..but I'm starting to get a hang of the more complex stuff and I hope to have above an 85 come 4 weeks from now. But teh rest is all grand and well.
Grading scale is as follows:
100-93=A
92-85=B
84-77=C
76-60=D
69-63=F With Credit
62-0=F Without Credit
MY SCORES: (I am disappointed, but this is the best progress report or report card I've ever seen in public school. I WILL work to make this a much better grade)
AlgebraII-70
Keyboarding-96
ArtIII-100
Geometry-92
EnglishIII-94(I think she miscalculated the score, if I'm correct it will be a 96)
ChemistryI-95
That works it self out to a 3.57 grade average...and my goal next time around is to have above a 4 flat.
*Interesting Fact:
Students in my english class are DUMB. Because of this the class is tied down and BORING. My homeschool english courses were 100 times more interesting. But I expect it to get better as the year goes on.
In ENGLISH III Students with:
Below a 69: 8
70-76: 8
77-84: 9
85-89: 4
90-100: 1 (That would be me)
Even with my poor Algebra grade and what I consider average other grades, I still seem to be one of the most interested students in all of my classes.
So in celebration for nothing too big really, can we get a smily like this one
(:nworthy: ) only have it "rasing the roof"?
I'm excited to get my Algebra grade up...I'ma be workin' a ton!

James, nice job! I had a tough time in math as well. The only F I ever got in my entire life was my first semester of college algebra. I think I had an A, 3 B's, and and F in algebra. My parent's didn't care because they knew I was horrible at math anyway, and my other grades were fine, so no big deal. I made up the class, got a C during the summer, and forgot it all the next semester. I could however do Trig, Calc, and Physics. I never understood why algebra messed me up so bad. I can do math just fine now though...maybe it was a brain/age thing? Who knows. All I know, is that I can fly airplanes, vector aircraft, and drive a Marauder with no problems. (Except if I'm trying to follow CRUZTAKER to Marauderville II!!) Good luck, have fun in skool.

That's the kind of grading scale we had back in Kansas when I was growing up!
Other places I have been use a 90 80 70 60 scale for grades!
Good job!

Good grades James!
Stick with the math and the art. Believe it or not, they are related. Algebra screwed with me too, but it got better after a while.
