Heading to FL, any travel issues?

Hey all.
Michelle and I will be heading to Florida on the 10th. We will be going to Lake Wales (in-laws) then down to Miami.
I have not seen any travel warnings due to major road closures or anything like that, but want to check if there is anything to look out for due to the sevre damage.

I'm not aware of any problems with the interstate system as you come into Florida, I-75 is the main artery for traveling the length of the state North to South, however be warned, Lake Wales took a beating.

You shouldn't have any problems. I see you going to Lake Wales, then Miami. If your in the Miami area around the 15th of Oct. why dont you stop by and meet with us at our monthly meet at the Tower Shops in Davie. WE hang out for a while then some of us go some where to eat. If you like just pm one of us and we will be happy to give you directions ,It' s only about 25-30 minutes away from Miami. Just a though.
