Hi folks,
Yesterday morning my panic alarm went off for no reason as i was walking up to my car...I tell ya I can't get no respect...

Anyway I hit the panic button and it stopped but then started off again...I picked up a new battery for the fob and it hasn't gone off yet. So my question is this, when the battery in the fob gets weak, does it trigger the panic alarm when you get close to the car? or could it be something else.

I went thru the search pages but didn't find a cure for a problem that it seems a few others have had.

TIA
Darrell

Check the underhood sensor.

It was a problem in the late model SHO's I've owned and kept up on.

Wouldn't be surprised if its the same thing here.

Like on a '99 SHO? Where is the underhood sensor on the Marauder? I must be blind:beatnik:

I believe there is a mercury switch in the light assembly.
