When I leave school I take my buddy Taylor over to his work but we stop off at a convience store to get some food. He was sitting in the back with his woman who I had to give a ride home and a guy Paul from chemistry class was up front.
When you pull out you're on an incline and I'm not quite sure what happened but after looking both ways and starting to pull out I heard "WHOOSH...CRASH!" and I looked back to see glass flying back and going ALL over the road. A couple pieces fell inside and there are a bunch of nicks on the rear quarter panal. Paint...window...check.
The good news is that no one was injured and SC law defines windows breaking in that sort of situation a no-fault deal. Thus, my insurance company is stuck with whatever bill the glass company charges them and neither can get sqaut from me. The window shouldn't have broken but momentem laws said otherwise I guess.
Even better, I just leave the car in the drive way, and they come and reinstall the window, lock up the car, leave a reciept and warrenty in my mail-box and I'll never hear from them or my insurance company again. I'll be bummin' a ride to school tomorrow though. Oh well...all went well, and Taylor's a lucky kid not to be cut or missing a finger or hand or eye or...any skin of any kind for that matter.
Just one thing after another when I'm driving:D
