they will be finally done for shipment in two weeks sorry for taking so long to get this out.but it turned out beautiful it bolts in with no drilling.should be an aftermarket part all marauders should have.especially with the aluminum driveshaft let me know if interested i am taking orders now price will be $54.95.oh yeah it is powdercoated black with all the bolts you will need.thanks aaron 864 332 5929.

I've always put them further back so if the rear u-joint goes it does not hit the ground. It was also far enough forward so it could not hit the floor if the front one went. Has my thinking been wrong for all these years?

The explanation I got was the front was more important than the rear in that if the front of the shaft fell and impaled itself into the ground, it could flip your car over. The rear falling would'nt do this. Also, Metco takes advantage of the seat bolts for the install, so that's why the loop mounts where it does.
