Ok I have been Racing Fords since 1972 and have had work done on my cars by several shops all over the USA. But never have I been so completly satisfied as I was by Lideo @ Alternative Performance. Yes my 04 silver MARAUDER is supercharged now and quick and fun. But I called Alternative they gave me an appointment told me 3 to 4 days and it was done in 3 and perfect. No messing around no unfinshed we are waithing for this or that. Just great I am veryy impressed.:bows:

Lidio's employee Mark installed mine last month.
I too was greatly impressed.
Wonderful work.....!
BTW: One reason its such a complete job done by Alt Auto is that the kit from Trilogy is absolutely complete...right down to every nut and bolt needed.
Mark handed me the install manual when I dropped the car off.....He didn't need it he's done so many!
What kit number did you get?

I'm curious. I've never driven an MM wth a SC. Describe the difference from stock if you can. Does it take your breath away?
I have a stock 04 MM. I've also owned a Buick Grand National, a BMW 535 and a host of other sports/muscle cars, Even owned a 68 (BEEP,BEEP) Plymouth Roadrunner back when I was kid. I know fast, and the 04 stock MM isn't.

Rep12, the s/c Marauder could park and wait for your Roadrunner in the 1/4. Unless you had the hemi or 6pack, your current Marauder is around the same as the Mopar. I had a 70 with the 383. It ran 14.8 usually, and not too much better. Also it wouldn't corner (14" bias ply tires), stop (drums all around), but the horn was cool.

A S/C'ed Marauder does take your breath away....Especially since, with the right mods, you can take stock Corvettes and leave the Camaro SS gents in the dust.
Give those cars a few mods and its about even though....

My son was able to do a ride along in the KB#8. I asked the same question about the difference ...... His answer "Absolutely No Comparison .... I spent the entire ride pinned to the leather." :D

Look at my 1/4 mile numbers in my sig below, and that should serve as some explanation for you. With a Trilogy S/Cer kit on your otherwise stock Marauder, you'll turn very low 13's in the 1/4 mile easy along with going 0-60 MPH on the street in under 5 seconds. Put some 4.10 gears in the rear, and you'll be in the high 12's. And burnouts? You won't need to use the brakes to smoke the tires. Just a dead punch on the street tires will have em spinning through first gear, and all the way through second gear. On a hot 85 degree day, you'll leave 80 feet of rubber w/out the brake pedal, and on a 50 degree day you'll leave up to 120 feet of rubber w/the factory stock tires on.

Billy's explanation needs to explanation. Its perfect!
Think burned rubber if you want it.
If you don't...the S/C Marauder is a calm beast...until you put your foot about 1/2 way into the pedal. Below 1/2 pedal...its an entirely different beast.

#5, thanks for your generous offer, I really appreciate it. Next time you're in a car show around here let me know. I'll take you up on the offer. I was thinking of trading the MM for a new Vette. But, on the other hand I'm still considering S/Cing the MM. Guess I need to experience the SC option to make up my mind.
Thanks to all the other responses to my question. Thanks MM'ers.

Ya, figures don't lie and liars don't figure. The stock 383 BeepBeep just seemed soooo much faster than the stock MM. But, hey, that was 36 years ago. I'm not a drag racer, don't go to the track to record the figures. I'm going from "seat-of-the-pants" memory only. Of course, life was much slower back in those days. (sigh...) Maybe that's it. (There will never be a computer that will be able to figure out the jist of that last sentence. The human brain is such a marvel!)
Thanks for the response.

Lidio is the best. I can't tell you all of the great support he has given Trilogy over the last couple of years! And he has become a very good friend. I there aren't very many that stand behind the work that they do, like Lidio does. That tells me a lot.
Enjoy your car!!!!

The preceding post^ is for "REP12" in response to his comments about his 383 Roadrunner. I hope this sheds some light on the topic of Supercharged Marauders for you.My Trilogy equipped Marauder would place number 3 on this list, and most Trilogy equipped Marauders would place numbers 5,6, &7 on the list. And the 2003 & 2004 Marauder are heavier than just about every can on that list. Get your Marauder "Trilogized" Dude!!!! You won't regret it!!

The numbers for the SC'd Marauder are even more impressive considering the CI displacement disadvantage MM has compared to the above vehicles. Why Ford didn't put a 32v 4cam 5.4L in the MM is beyond me...

Yes, I agree. I've said this so many times now, but you just cannot overlook one thing.....this Trilogy Supercharger kit simply makes your big heavy under-powered Marauder move off the line as well as from 0-120 MPH, like it has a muscle big block V8 engine of old under the hood instead of the puney little 281 cubic inch engine that it actually does have. And I'm not exaggerating one bit about that. I had a 69 Plymouth Roadrunner w/a built 440 cubic inch engine w/headers,as well as a 72 Pontiac Lemans w/a 400 cube engine, and my Trilogized Marauder moves better than both of those cars did. Not only better off the line, but better on the top end too.
