I have several. HP with a document feeder, one without, one for negatives, one for up to D size paper.

A little HP scanner trivia: If you take an HP Scanjet (II or 5P??) with a SCSI interface, set it for SCSI ID 7 and hold the "scan" button while turrning it on, it will play a song. "Ode to Joy" if I recall.

Yup...just not hooked up at the moment.

Hasn't been since the divorce almost a year ago.

Had to move the computer, desk and everything around it...never got around to hooking it up again.

Naw, I didn't want to know, because I already knew. Most people living in this century have one, and as you can see, over 70% of the people here do as well, so my point in that other thread is ofcourse a valid one no matter how much MAC wants to kick and scream. ;)

I kinda fall into this category... I have a scanner (old clunker from HP), but it now sits in a completely other room, as I have no need for it. Digital cameras came around, and I've never looked back!
