just a bit of friendly advice. carfax doesn't mean squat. the only way they know about anything is if an insurance claim is filed, and the company decided to report the claim to the state. a practice for which they recieve no compensation. i'm an insurance agent with a mustang that has been totaled. twice. the carfax report comes back spotless.

Hey, Carfax definately isn't everything, but it's better than looking all glossy-eyed at a car, hopefully you'd be able to get some kind of information. .

Roy, thanks man!!! I appreciate it!

So much for a carfax. If it is not reported you will never know.

The VIN was for a previously rented Avis car. No history. Just probably beat to death.

Just my .02 and then some.
