Don't think it'll go into production. I believe it was a desing excersise, as they said many of the Messenger's ques will be applied to up-coming redesigns of current vehicles.

Did they say how much horsepower it had?

They didn't say much about the car at all, and what they did say, they said 3 times. No nose pic either, this has to be someone's wet dream.

I'll believe it when I see it, but for now, it does look appealing, and will be if we do come to re-live the muscle car era, one more time.

I'm going to the Chicago Auto Show the 17th of next month. Maybe I'll meet up with Sarge and Sax. The first place I go to is the Dodge section. We'll meet up at the Mercury section,near the Marauder. I'll be leaving Schaumburg in the morning. See you two there!

The Messenger has the same 3.9L supercharged v-8 the Lincoln LS and Bond T-Bird prototypes had at SEMA, 400 hp. Be nice to see them make it, turn Mercury into a peformance arm of Ford.
