C'mon now guys, let's not bash this concept car, there could be great innovations ahead from the "artist."

Meanwhile, I reserve my own humble opinion while I pause in reflection of the total concept...

It looks like it's wrapped in aluminum foil and is ready for the oven. Someone get the turkey baster....wouldn't want the turkey inside to dry out.

Meanwhile, I reserve my own humble opinion while I pause in reflection of the total concept...Actually, I can think of some applications on my car for this paint right now. I was talking with a guy who suggested using this paint (or similar) on some parts instead of ceramic metallic coating or chroming, and certainly there are plastic parts that this paint could be used on.

I could see where in the hands of someone like Chip Foose, this paint could produce stunning results.

MirraChrome represents the latest in reflective coating Technology. It's near microscopic particle content provides superior surface orientation. This particle alignment is the key to MirraChrome's shine. While many attempts have been made by others to achieve a "chrome paint" no one has come close. Through a rigorous development process we have established the specific process and coatings to allow MirraChrome to achieve remarkable brilliance and be clearcoated. That's right, we said clearcoated. Alsa's MirraChrome can be topcoated with high quality automotive grade poly-urethane clearcoat such as Alsa's Speed Clear (http://www.alsacorp.com/products/speedclear/speed_prodinfo.htm) or any other topcoat without loosing its true chrome look.

http://www.alsacorp.com/products/mirrachrome/images/mirra2.jpgMirraChrome can be applied with almost any type of spray equipment from airbrushes to full size HVLP guns.(We recommend Iwata's LPH50 detail gun.) MirraChrome comes ready to spray meaning no reducers or hardeners, just pour it in your gun and spray, when you're finished simply pour it back into it's container to use later.

MirraChrome can be used on any surface you can paint such as metals, plastics, wood, foams etc. From trim pieces and logos to full blown custom paintjobs the possibilities are endless even use it to touch up real chrome! Got a scratch in the worst place? Blend it away with MirraChrome.

If chrome isn't enough for you try topcoating MirraChrome with your favorite shade of Candy Concentrate (http://www.alsacorp.com/products/candyconcentrates/candy_prodinfo.htm) to achieve stunning colored chrome finishes.

I hate to say this, but that WOULD look very nice on a Marauder. If I had the $ I might even consider it.

Top reasons to have this paint:

1) Never need headlights again
2) Mirrors? Useless now.
3) You are an emergency spotlight, landing light, lighthouse, etc..
4) Track/drag opponents blinded & become easy prey.
5) Reflection of radar signal might just destroy the gun, the cops eyesight, small towns nearby, etc..
6) Reflection of LIDAR means you have to register the car as a lethal weapon.

I'm sure there are tons more like this - have a field day with it.

On a moon lit night, its parked quietly in the drive, when all of a sudden the owner hears, thump - HONK, thump - HONK, thump - Honk as a flock off geese mistake it for a pond...

This actually happened a few years ago here to the owner of a new mobile home with a bright shiny aluminum roof. Dead geese all over the yard. He heeded a new roof too. Apparently it appeared to be pond to the geese.

To be true Bling Bling it needs to be GOLD!

Given the Candy finish possibilities it probably could be gold.

Actually this stuff looks like it might be fun to play with.

I wonder how my 89 wagon would look? I'd keep the woodgrain to cut down on the glare factor.

I bet it would require polorized glasses to drive.
