I have been trying to upload Photos into the Gallery for sum time now. Mary and Logan have tried to help but still no luck. So I will post this thread and see if I can get help. First its a JPEG and I have plenty of room in the space allowed. I have renamed the pic. Still no luck. Here is the message I get after I hit upload.

EMAIL the pic to me at cruztaker@sbcglobal.net and I will fuss with it.

Send it in the next 1/2 hour and I'll do it tonight.

I tried uploading the pics logged in as Patrick and it didn't work. Logged in as myself and it worked.
These are the extensions that are acceptable: .jpg,.jpeg,.png,.JPG,.JPEG

Logan says the file name can't begin with a number. Beyond that I don't know why they don't work.

Perhaps it has to do with that Kodak program. One of our members uses it too and has all kinds of problems....or atleast he did. Fastmerc.

Try to download your images from your camera to your pc, and then use another program such as Windows picture and fax viewer (comes with XP), and resave the images under a new filemame in .jpg format.

The file certainly isn't too big...in fact it's too small for my liking. That seems to be a problem when you use the Kodak program and save the image 'for use on the web'.

Save the image in full size as if you were to use it on your desktop. Find the file using 'my computer', and click on it. Windows pic and fax viewer should open it up if this is your default pic viewer. Use the programs edit feature and resave (save as) it with a alfa name and then upload that image to the gallery.

:confused: I had the same problem Pat last month, uploaded some the day before no problem, next day problem. Mary saved the day, I still tried after that and got the same message.

Mary can upload for me but that is a pain in the $$#ss. I know she dont have a problem with it I just dont want to have to bother her when I want to add a pic.

I went to Kelly Blue Blue Book and saved this pic and saved as .JPEG. Still nothing. This seems to be the $64,000.00 question.

If that's the case, it's really backshop stuff I don't have access to. I encouraged Patrick to post this thread to see who else might be having problems.

Thanks again Mary. I tired to send as PNG and all other types of files but alas, Nutin. Maybe when Logan gets sum time again. Thanks to all for your time. I do appreciate it!!!! I will still keep tinkering around.
