Being a collector of model Fire Engines and cars over the past several years, I just received the Christmas 2004 edition of the Franklin Mint catalog. This one features precision models of muscle cars. Here's your chance to get that '65 Sheby GT 350 (only 516 real ones produced) that you've always wanted or the '68 Shelby GT 500KR. How about a '70 Mustang Boss 429 (just 1358 made), a '70 Chevelle SS 454, '77 Trans Am, or a '64 Pontiac GTO. Now's your chance. Lots of muscle from years gone by .... to scale.

Anyone ever remember a '66 Hurst "Hairy" Oldsmobile with twin, blown 425 cid big blocks producing a combined 1,000 hp (one was in the trunk) -- 4WD and 9 seconds in the 1/4 mile?

Catalog also includes Harley-Davidson models, planes, ships, and tanks. Sorry, no B-26s in there.

FYI. Just thought I'd pass along the info. :D

If you want models go where I go. This is the link: http://scale18.com/ Over the last three years I have ordered about 30-35 models from this guy. Pretty class act.

I kinda prefer the 1:24 or 1:25 scale just for shelf space purposes without losing alot of the detail.
