View Full Version : O/T Goning Racing In a Mustang

We finished my son's car last night. It's a 91 Mustang 5.0 vert. Motor is all stock except t-trim blower, 42lb injectors,80mm MAF, 4:30 gears, 2600 stall convertor. Car ran 12.28 @112 with an AOD. Broke front input shaft. Installed c-4 manual reverse valve body with 2600 convertor. Installed roll cage, frame ties, battle boxs, 5 point harness, 3" wheel studs, and new ET Streets, 28x11.50. Installed smaller blower pulley increasing boost from 6lbs, to 11lbs, and retuned on dyno. Hoping for 11.50-11.80's.
Going to "Super Stallions" meet at Cecil County Raceway in MD. tomorrow. Running Ford vs Buick at Atco in NJ on Sunday.

That sure is one sweet lookin stang sir!!!I'll stop over there tomorrow to check it out and say hello..

Sorry, but I won't be there tomorrow. Since my son works for me,we can't both be out together, someone has to work on Sat. So I'm stuck working. I'll be at Atco on Sunday. :mad2:

Hey, that looks like my Mustang - except for the rollbar, and slicks, and cowl induction hood with flames, and of course, all the go-fast stuff. Nice ride!

11.74 @116. best of three runs. first 11.99 @112, second 11.79 @114. Should go 11.50's tomorrow at Atco. Atco is always faster than Cecil. Bring you cars down for Ford vs Buick.

Got called into work today but 5 miles on 95n i saw the car being trailored on the other side lookin great ! :2thumbs:

Only ran 11.80's today. On the 6th pas, he blew a head gasket. Guess the 85k stock motor couln't take all that boost. Time to fix it. It could have been worse. :bigcry:

Hello all and thanks for the kind words on the car. Now Sr is a little off with some of the things about the car. It has a 90mm maf, 3000 stall convertor, went from 11 up to 16 pounds of boost. But either way the car ran is azz off.
