Too much reach .... not enough outrigger on the first lift. :D Look at the position of the outrigger on the first crane. Looks to me like he had it positioned on the edge of the stone bulkhead. A rookie crane operators mistake ..... overreach !!! :rolleyes:

First off, that first truck was not rated to do a side lift with that much weight. The boom was to far down also. This was an accident waiting to happen. They probably estimated the weight of the car but not the weight of the car plus all the water it took on.
