This is a really nice dog.

Sweet, loving, obedient, housebroken, spayed, healthy, young, strong, 35.5lbs of golden brown love and enthusiasim, aprox 1.5 yrs old.

Seriously a nice dog.

My stepson brought her home because she was a failure. Her previous owner tried to make her a shop dog because she is a pit bull, but she is too nice and has to be replaced. That's the truth.

My Pete is jealous and won't compromise on this. He must be the only dog in the house. "Baby" is really much nicer than he is.

I am spaying her today and she will be ready to go, complete with shots.

She can jump vertically with excitement almost 5'. She is so happy to see the "boys" Yet she is so gentle with her excitement that she hasn't even poked us hard.

Did I say this dog is nice?

She is really sweet and well behaved. She prefers to sleep at your feet. But will sleep wherever you want her to.

She will take food out of your hand, you can take her food away while she is eating it and she will just look sad.

She's good with folks of all ages.

not all pit bulls are mean. my buddy has one and his dog wouldn't harm a fly. he has a young son that rides it like a horse, pulls its ears, etc. i've never even heard this dog growl.

I had a pit bull for 2 1/2 years. She was the neighborhood sweetheart. Never hurt a soul.

Hope you find a good, safe home for her Jaywish! If my roomy wasn't a wuss, I'd have a dog myself! :)

Yes she is a cute little Pit Bull. I don't have a digital camera but I should have a picture soon.

All dogs have different personalities. This one is an ultra-nice personality.

My other dog Pete, a Pit-Lab, has gone after her several times now. That's why I can't keep them both. She still tries to kiss and or play with him whenever they are together. Which is infrequent now as I've given up on aclimating Pete to her. He's just too posessive of the other family members. Pete can't stand it if Baby goes near them while he is around and the rest of the family doesn't have the dog skills to difuse the situation.

She did defend herself against him but she never started anything and has been nothing but friendly to every dog and person I've introduced her to. She even stops fighting on command, unlike Pete who needs to be dragged off like a typical dog.

She really will make a great companion for a family or anybody. I think most if not all of the family will cry when she goes, and she's only been here 13 days.

She has been sleeping under the covers in the kids beds since day one. A real sweetheart.

Yes I still have the dog.

I have some pictures. and a story.

As I metioned earlier in the thread my other dog Pete is the only reason I'd give this dog,"baby" away to a good home. He went after her and her tail got damaged near the tip.

She worried it and it got infected, after a week of treatment, it healed/scabed up well. Since it must have itched something terrible, she just bit it off. Clean through the bone.

After the vet did some minor surgery to close it up we decided to get smart and use a basket muzzle to keep her from the new (shorter) healing tail. After another week everthing was looking good. Stitches were due to come out and low and behold ,she got the tip of the tail through the muzzle and bit the skin off the tip!.

This time we bobed the tail completly, used a basket muzzle and drugs. I'm glad to say everthing is fine with the girl now. She wags her little stub happily.

I hope I find a home for her soon as I could cry just contemplating giving her up, but she has to go. She deserves to be top dog. What a good dog she is.

...but the wife says N0! :depress:

She looks a little thin, but she is a real cutie. I already have a Pit and he is 12yrs old and still a big baby, even thinks he is still a puppy sometimes. :puppy:

Hope you find a good home for her soon. If I hear of someone looking I will check them out first before I inform you.

PitBulls are people too...:dogrun:

She was very skinny.

Right now I put 3lbs on her and she looks fine. I appreciate you checking them out, it's important with any animal and especially with pits, shepards, etc.

Baby really didn't know how to play with toys when we got her. We had to work to show her it was OK to chew on them. Tug of war is still difficult for her, I have to keep encouraging her and letting her know it's OK to keep a grip and pull when it's play time.

She is smart, Brian, my stepson, wanted her to chew her toys in one spot to keep the mess down, she lives in the kids bedrooms, so she does faithfully. Talk about easy to train.

There is currently a bill before the house (it won't pass) in Georgia that will ban Pit Bulls from private ownership in the state. My opinion: Dog = #### on the lawn. I prefer cats. They don't get lost, they just leave.

Hi All,

I just have to say that I'm really happy Rick and Angela have taken Baby into their home.

As some of you may have guessed that is what brought them down this past Saturday in the SNOW storm.

Baby had a great 6.5 hour ride back with them. She loves to ride.

The stupidity of some elected officials is amazing. Especially the one's who keep bringing up this particular issue after the past experiences of other communities worldwide who have already tried bans :censor:

Congrats on the dog...

Does anyone else here see the humor in a guy with the name of "Menace" calling his dog "Baby"? :P
