Check it out. I think I'm gonna come out of retirement. This 4th run I was running against Dennis so I guess I was a little on edge. I lost anyway. :o

Bone stock except for the KVR brakes package and the mods as listed. :D

Anybody ever get a reaction time that good before?

R/T's like that pay $$$ at bracket events. Typically $100 for best R/T and usually the win in that race if you don't break out.

Nice job.

I can tell you all had fun, because just about everyone of you started your own thread!:P

Barry/Cruztaker pulled a 0.054 R/T on his 13.27 run at Mason-Dixon. I think the tower guy said that a 0.050 was perfect for that track.

Yup... .004, it's tough with a car of this stature. The weight, and the 18" wheels make it difficult. I also came in second place for the R/T award that day. SECOND! That's how good one has to be to race the pros in mustangs and vettes.

I NEVER do that well, and was actually testing the tree. The run prior I redlighted. That's why it's important to test and tune several runs prior to a money race if you are unfamiliar with the tree.

I have learned to keep my R/T's consistantly below .2 and anything higher kills you when racing for times. The only way to keep it tight against the Impallas and 5.0's is the crush them in the first 60 feet.

Keep up the good work. One question, what were your 1/4 mile times w/o the tape covering the grille opening?

Keep up the good work. One question, what were your 1/4 mile times w/o the tape covering the grille opening? These were 2 weeks ago, sans tape and KVR's.

On these, I arrived at the track with 1/4 tank of gas. It was at night, probably just as humid but definitely cooler.

Saturday, I arrived with 3/4 tank at 10AM, hotter and heavier. I'm a believer when it comes to aerodynamics.
