UAW 588,
You MUST get your wife involved with the local MM social gatherings!
I did that with mine and even got her input on what we should do with our FIRST MM. Then she opined July4th weekend that it was a no brainer and that we should get a SECOND MM -- YE HAW!!!! Guess what? It was child's play to oputfit another MM just like the first one!!!
The real way to entice your wife is to let her drive it for a week! Then she will not want to give it back! And you will be forced to find a 2nd one!
Check my sig for the proper ASC sunroof -- look at the Blue MM goodies installed.

UAW,Yesterday was My one year anniversary in my MM. I have the same problem.
SEE >>> :D

Gordon, That is what I did with the Mrs....Well, that and it is our daily driver, and we car pool a lot. Once she got some seat time, it was a no brainer for her. She just had to have one of her own. :)

Sorry, I have a strict rule: My wife doesn't know how much I spend on my cars and SHE doesn't ASK. She has her own checkbook, and we just do what we have to. We get along just fine, as we have for 24 years!:banana2:

Yeah.....mine is two years old ...celebrated it at the Alanta Dragway in Commerce......seems with a chance to get a second blower, I may have to have Ms.M take out # 7 a bit more often and give her that gring feeling more often as well..cause then a second MM may be as easy to acquire as a few other members here have done --that seem to work for them( giving the MM to wives for awhile) --hummmmm.....maybe there is another way after all to get that second MM.........let the grins continue.... :D :D ..........Tom

Once you sign the papers and start the engine for the first time, the cure is gone. Think about it, what other car have you owned that made you join a website? It's best not to fight this disease, it actually is good for humanity. I have been a small boon to the aftermarket economy, personally support several touchless car washes, have drive the sales of several detailing supply companies up, and kept a certian tire company in the black. Although my wife doesn't really get it, she is quite understanding. Having a Marauder does take away the desire for another woman, keeps me busy, and, because she comes along on some of the cool Marauder events, I end up doing what she likes from time to time (guilt thing maybe). I would suggest the only way to deal with your disease is to surrender completely to it. Attend MM events, go racing, drive it a lot, and just plain have fun. I have mentioned this before, but here goes again, This car is Viagra on wheels! I have discovered the fountian of youth.

Although my wife doesn't really get it, she is quite understanding. I guess I'm rather unique, eh? http://smileys.smileycentral.com/cat/11/11_4_123v.gif (http://www.smileycentral.com/?partner=ZSzeb001_VSXXXXXX46US ) And, it IS my car!! :bunny2:

I agree, there is no "cure". Take it one day at a time, live and let live, easy does it, first things first, and as others have said, get her to a meeting. Remember, she is a sick woman and needs to get well, not a bad woman. She needs a support group. I hope she accepts your condition and recovers.

Check this site for a Marauders Anonymous Family Group meeting near you. :D

As for our addiction, there is no "recovery group" available that I know of. Nobody's hit bottom yet! :P
