Just got back from the auto show in Portland, OR. It just left me wondering what the ????.
At the Mercury both, I was told when asking about the blue Marauder sitting there "we can get you a brochure, or you can go to your local dealer to have your questions answered." Sadly I got a similar responce from a Mazda rep when asking a question, and a Pontiac rep too. Seems as though the reps. for the manufacturers don't know anything about any of thier vehicles. Again all I can say is what the ????

looking:

I'd be willing to bet the reps really DID know the answers, but were told by their handlers not to say anything. The answers change daily, so what was true when you asked, would be wrong by the time you could act on it...

...but I'm probably still right...

(Just because you're paranoid, doesn't mean they're NOT out to get you.)

Well, the Mercury rep's were two very young and very pretty persons, actually quite 'bubblely' I think says it right. I don't think they knew anything about any of the cars there.

I went today to the Portland show as well.
already posted a comment about the Blue Marauder in the "Garage"

I will say. looking at other cars, the Marauders are not so overpriced comparatively. (not that all cars aren't overpriced)

Cadillac has to be kidding with some of their offerings at $55,000. Talk about tacky plastic and poor quality leather! Not to mention bland styling.

The leather used by Ford this year is pretty good. I'd say it's even better han the stuff Mercedes is using. The current Mercedes leather is terrible. More like heavy vinyl!

The Ford section was adjacent to the Mercury section. They had a Red '03 CV LX Sport there (Jan '03 build, decontented) I over heard the Ford salesman telling a show goer "Marauder? they are only Black" and sitting 50 ft away was the Blue Marauder LOL

One thing i noticed. Every car (CV/GM/MM) had thin paint in the lower rear door opening. (hard to notice unless you look) Some the colour was OK but thin or missing clear coat, some had thin colour as well. also thin paint in the water trough of the moulding on the "C" (where the roof panel meets the "C" pillar" You have to look down from the top to see. Might be something to check on your cars
