I was messing around with my grandpa's MM over the holiday and the HVAC stays on even after pressing the off button. And when I say stays on...it stays on full blast through the floor vents, which means the HVAC system will actually change modes when pressing the off button. I figure there is a problem with the HVAC unit or a wire is loose somewhere. Anyone else experienced anything like this?
Chris...I've never experienced this...but, I was made aware yesterday of a Marauder recently needing the whole control panel/unit replaced for something very similar to this. And if not under warranty...that puppy cost like $525...so get your Gramps into the dealer for a look-see.

How long has this been going on? Mine did the same thing and come to find out the vacuum lines were hooked up wrong. Took 3 times to make the dealership believe that something wasn't right! If it's still covered have him take it back and get it fixed.

Got the GA crew working on this one  Thanks guys.
I don't know how long the problem has existed but the car has plenty of warranty left and I'll tell grandpa to get it to the dealer for servicing. Stay tuned.
