I know there are threads for this.Listen up,I took my car to the dealer cause the left sites .5 inch lower than the right side.At the time the factory said nothing could be done,it was still in spec. Now just so happens my cousin is service manager of a Mercury dealership. He hasnt heard anything on it yet,but he told me to let all who need to know.Go to your dealer, make sure they call it in to Ford, and document your visit. What should happen is when there are enough complaints about it they should address the situation. He said do not attempt to fix on your own you will void the service when it comes.

Yup. Mine's 0.5-inches shorter on one side. The place that put in my Eibachs said that's common. But, yeah, it bothers me. I'll have Ford document the complaint when I finally get the patience to have Ford fix my squeaky lower frame on my driver's seat!

Hey FastMerc,
I have heard of this on other ford vehicles as well!Expeditions with "load leveling"
rear suspension.Navagators because they are built with this feature standard.Don't get excieted because the Tolerances that are Acceptable in Fords' eyes is Quite high.I seem to remember about 1+1/2" inches was determined to be within thier tolerance.I have a friend who purchaced an '04 F-150 crew cab 4x4 with Off Road equipt. factory. He says pepole have asked him "how come your truck sits so low compared to others?"He is in the aftermarket auto business, and it's got him crazy:argue: The dealer called ford and thats been documented, the determination was made by a measurement from the ground to the bottom of the rear spring knuckle.and even though it has been proven that it too sits 1+1/2" lower overall thats Good enough for Ford.He is not a happy camper.I hope the answer you get will be different, please tell us how you make out Good Luck!

reminds me of an old caddy that was modified to sit level when the 500+ lb driver got in. It was much higher than .5 inch though.
Just measured my MM and the fronts are pretty close but the rears are off about .25 inch.

Both my Town Car and Grand Marquis lean
to the passenger side about 0.5 - 0.75 inches....since new.
I think it is part of the balance (set up) in the air suspension system, etc.
Nothing can correct it.....shocks, springs, tires, etc.
The Marauder is as straight as an arrow...Go Figure!
Don't worry about it....it appears to get better with time.
Gotta Love It!
