I heard a rumor a while back that the Mercury Marauder was suposed to be in Gran Turismo 4. Has anyone else heard that as well?

I found a list of the cars somewhere on the internet... I think it's over 600. The Marauder is there... wonder if I can make mine blue... as is a V8 SHO Taurus. Lots of different stuff on the list... I told Santa that I need a PS2!

GT3:A-Spec was the sole reason I bought my PS2, a couple of years ago... There are very few video games that I can still play, a couple of months after release, let alone 3 years. GT3 is a game that still gets pulled, every now and then.:bows:

I've been waiting on this game forever now. Can't wait for it to finally come out.

I'm not a big video game guy either. Only game I own and play for my PS2 is Madden 2005. I've had every Madden game since Madden 95. Just sell the old one and get the new one when it comes out. :)

IMO, the Test Drive series has gotten worse w/ each release over the years, besides, I prefer "simulation" racing not "arcade" racing :)

I guess it's a good thing I have both systems. It's going to be hard to pick a favorite, as both games (GT4 and Forza Motorsport) look simply AMAZING!!!

Actually, I'm debating buying an Xbox. They're getting to be so cheap, and being moddable doesn't hurt, either. If I don't get one for Christmas, I'll likely pick one up, myself.

As for the next-gens, Microsoft has said that Xbox2 won't be out until late 2005 / 2006. That's a mighty long time away...

PS3 is on a similar timeline (2006)... Man, do the prelim screen shots look amazing, tho :eek:

I have both an XBox and PS2, the wait for GT4 sucks. I'll have to check into this Forza Motorsports though. I do miss Motor City Online for EA though

There's a great deal on the X-Boxes right now. They're 149, and you get two games (NCAA Football 2005, and Top Spin Tennis). If you check E-Bay, sometimes you can get an even better deal.

That PS3 shot of the rear of the Porsche is too much...I'm going to have to start saving for the next generation of consoles Sony and Microsoft are bringing to the table.

Take my word about modding the xbox... been there, done that. You don't want to mod if you EVER want to go online with xbox live. Believe me, I've already pulled my mod chip. Xbox Live now scans the Bios chip of the mobo to check for modification every time you sign on. Yeah, you could continue to update your mod chip every month or so, but what a pain in the a**.
Just trust me on this one. If you want to play online, don't mod. If you don't care to play online then go ahead and mod away!
