I used double sided carpet tape, and it worked fine for close to a year, just make sure you clean the surfaces with alcohol prior to application.

I am considering mounting mine on my fuse box cover with a piece of lexan over it.
I am concerned that engine heat, over time, might have detrimental effects if I mount it on the
valve cover.

Finally got around to installing the thumbscrews over the weekend...they DO look sharp!

The only thing I wondered about is the choice of washers...I thought the mod would look much better if they were brass, but I've asked around and everyone tells me they don't make fender washers in brass...if anyone knows of a source, please let us all know?

(and yes, I've tried marine supply houses)
