Like Directedby ... noticed the item earlier this morning.
Should ( fit ).
If not ... Who cares !?!? The cool factor alone makes it a sweet piece. :D
*Even if you had to fabricate an adapter for the lower half.
Hmmmm, wonder if I could make that fit my MM?

Sellers description:
If you were to look up the word RARE in the Funkenwagenal dictionary, you just might see a picture of this air filter assembly. I was told this was made only one year, for the 1958, 430 six pack, in the 400 H.P. SUPER MARAUDER.
After doing a little surfin, I think he was told correctly.
From the article by Dan Lyons:
The name Marauder has been attached to Mercury products dating back at least to the 1950's. Sometimes it named an engine, sometimes a car model, occasionally both. The first Marauder sighting on a Mercury engine chart was in 1958. A 383 cid/312hp V-8 was one of several high performance Mercury engines of various sizes that would bear the Marauder name in the years that followed.
From another site:
430 cubic inch commonly referred to as the Bulldozer of the MEL series and lasted from 1958 to 1965
In its' "suped up" version, the 430 was commonly referred to as the Super Marauder and came with three two barrel carburators.
Bore and stroke of 4.29 X 3.7 inches
Compression rations started at 10.5.1 but soon began to decline late in 1959 to 10.0.1 at 350 horsepower.
The higher horsepower versions of the 430 remained within its first year of production with horsepower of 365, 375 and of course 400.
It could be found in the 1958 Lincoln Continental Convertible, rating 400 horsepower and nearly 500 foot pounds of torque.
The only model of 1958 Mercury that I could fine that came with this 400 hp engine was the Parklane. It also appears that the Parklane was the top of the line.
For pics of the ‘58 Super Marauder engine and Parklane, go to this untranslatable (by me) web site.

Well, there you have it.:D
These things are EXTREMELY rare. The price was not surprising. A few months ago there was a complete setup on ebay, intake, carbs, and air cleaner. It went for $1,800. I thought it sold dirt cheap. I have known about these for a long time, but I have never seen one in the flesh.
