Is anybody planning on going to the ALL Ford & Mustang Show
at Silver Springs (Ocala) Fla. on Saturday & Sunday Jan 8-9 2005?
I can go either day..... Show is FREE if you pre-register.

Pull up the National Parts Depot Home Page (NPD). Click Events for flyer
with all the details, etc. It is the largest gathering of Ford/Mustang
enthusiasts on the East Coast.
Print out official registration form. First 1000 cars pre-registered
get 2 Free passes to Silver Springs Park for both days, plus car show.
I already got my entrance pass back in the mail.

Shakes, You can go either Sat or Sun. Show
registration is from 0700 to 1000 and show ends each
day at 4 PM. Last year they had close to 1,000 cars.

I hear the weather is supposed to be warm and sunny, at least warm for this time of year. I guess we will all be parked together? That would be great. Anyone know for sure? My cell phone number is 850-207-0169. I'll hopefully be there Friday for the Pony Trails ride. It's supposed to start at NPD in Ocala around 8 or 8:30 AM Friday. Anyone else going to try to make it. I'll be leaving Pensacola very early Friday morning.

Larry, I've never been to this one before. Maybe Merc-O-matic knows if we will all be able to park together. My wife and I should be there between 8:30 and 9:00 on Saturday. If you want, we'll try to look you up too. We are staying in Ocala overnight to hit a local Italian restaurant, then heading back to Orlando Sunday morning. Looking forward to seeing some more MMs.

I hear they have 800-1000 cars there every year, so I guess
you park where they tell you ( when you get there)
anyway, with 3-4 Marauders there? I know we will find each
other. Weather should be good.
Can't make the Pony Trail on Friday.

Where in Florida will you be coming from?

I live in Winter Springs, right next to Oviedo.
I plan to take the Greenway to Sanford, then take 46 to
46A up to 44 to (44 & 19) take 452 to 42 then take 441 to
Belleview, Fla. pick up 35 right to the park ( Silver Springs)
taking the scenic route....hi hi
You probably can take 441 all the way there,
once you hit Apopka.

We will probably take 441 to 429. That will get us on the turnpike, then we'll hit I-75 to 40 in Ocala. It's a little out of the way for us, but it's quicker. Maybe we'll consider coming back via your scenic route.

It was a perfect day. My wife and I were happy to meet you, the Mrs., and lwblum and son. I think we looked pretty good among all those ponies. Hope we can do it again sometime soon. Thanks to lwblum for the long haul. I know it took some time, but driving a Marauder ain't all that bad, and it was great to meet you guys. Looking forward to the next time.

I also had a great time! I am really glad I got to meet you there. Hopefully I can meet more members later on. Do we have any other members in the Northwest Florida area? I seem to remember seeing a registration of a car in Ft. Walton or somewhere near there.
