Actually I think they started usign it about 2 years ago, I was living in Europe then, and it was one of those uh-oh moments for all speeders. Which is why they intend to use it for. Too many 240kph (150mph) speeders. Yes there is a speed limit, in Italy I think 120/130kph (78,ph+/-) on the Autostrada. And if your going that slow you ARE a hazard!

You haven't lived until you've pushed a 1.9liter engine to the bad boy side of 120mph, sounds like soemthing between a weedwhacker and a scalded cat.
