Those are not his high beams, that is his left turn signal. In Germany, on the Autobahn, faster drivers signal to upcoming traffic with a left turn signal to let them know you are coming up on them at a high rate of speed.

I beg to differ. That is the blue high beam indicator flashing once to alert the driver ahead. This was a common "I'm comin' through" signal in the mid-70's when I was there. The practice is now discouraged. When I was in Germany in the late 80's, the fast movers would put their left signal on and leave it on to convey the same message. If you are running the Autobahn in the left lane, you better have one eye on the rear view mirror 'cause 1 flash is all you get before they are occupying the same space as you are. I hit 130 MPH on the Autobahn south of Munich headed to Garmisch in a 1974 Charger SE. After a brief sprint I figured I was aiming more than I was driving and haven't been on the bad side of 100 since. Ok, maybe once.

You are correct !!! Didn't see that right at the beginning of the video. The green left blinker indicator is flashing as he moves to the left lane. However, after that no more blinker shows and you will see the blue high beam indicator flash on and off a couple times.

You guys are both right on the lights, in the beginning there is a left turn signal, later the high beam indicator flashes, Im thinkin hes just getting started when you see the turn signal.
That blower whine is sweet aint it! :bandit:

Nope... I own a Lightning. Trust me - that is his highbeam.

It is a 1100cc motorcycle engine stuffed into a shifter cart. It appears that they have some traction problems to resolve:)

LOL! If he had better traction he'd break his neck! That cart is incredible. He's gonna kill himself on that thing! I cracked up when I saw him go around that first corner sideways.

That Lightning vid is incredible. Time to petition our legislators to give us a stretch of road here in the USA that we can use to plant the go pedal.
