Yes, that's right folks, I am off the market as a bachelor. I gave Elizabteh an engagement ring on Christmas morning. We are planning for an April 2006 wedding, and the Marauder will be our chariot on that day.

Congrats. It's been nearly 4 1/2 years since I popped the question, and it seems just like yesterday we meet for the first time. Good luck on all your plans and arrangements. God knows it can take a toll on your nerves. I just wish my Marauder was around when I got married, cause my stupid limo drivers decided to show up a little late;and then smack a relatives car in the church parking lot before the wedding mass. Well good luck to you two.

Besides, she get's to put the paper on the springey thingey which must always dispense the paper over the top. (rule 5).

Thank you to everyone for your well wishes. I do hope that Lizi and I have many, many great years together. Last night we decided on April 22, 2006 for our date. I will say that this is a very exciting time for both of our lives, and I thank God that I will have the in-laws that I will. I couldn't ask for two better people to also be part of my life. Also thank you to everyone who has written advise in this forum, keep the advise coming in, I will listen to what you have told me. God bless you, and have a wonderful and healthy new year!

I am very happy that another couple has found THE ONE for them--it is a wonderful feeling. I have read all the advice given and agree with most of it. Ginny and I will celebrate our 52nd anniversary on Jan. 7th, 2005. We are more in love now than we were when we married--it hasn't always been roses---there are many times you just think you can't go on--at that time sit back and think about the great times you have had and what sacrifices your mate has made for you--true love is a long , sometimes bumpy road, but the rewards as the years go by just keep on gettin better.
Our wish for you is that you will be as happy and healthy as we are at this stage of the game--just keep your eye on the future and the present will take care of itself--may you experience watching your great-grandaughter (11 months old) celebrate her first Christmas with all your children and their familys sharing this with you--it doesn't get any better.
Congratulations, keep us posted, and keep the love you have fresh and new every day---God Bless---Maury and Ginny
Tim, dont wait to be wed. Come on, its a year and a half away!
Go to the courthouse in jeans and a t-shirt, spend the 40 bucks (make sure she pays half) and get it overwith. Have a small reception with ONLY the people you like and spend the money you would have wasted on the big church production and champagne fountains on a blower.
You will love yourself for it.
