A little more than a year ago I asked for some suggestions on getting a Pocket PC and a GPS unit. Well I finally have both working in my car now. Whats good about this setup is that I can use the GPS out of the car on foot, plus the Pocket PC can numerous other things aswell. The Pocket PC is a Dell Axim X3i, with a Pharos SDIO GPS unit. Heres the pics......

Looks good!! I've got a Axim x50v w/wireless and bluetooth. I love the thing, it's awesome. I also picked up a GSM/GPRS CF card from Convergentech.com, Turned my Axim into a Mobile Phone and I now have GPRS data connectivity with my axim.

I'm unstoppable now! :)

I've got a HP5555 with wireless and BT...but my Garmin StreetPilot 2620 takes care of my GPS needs.

Cool stuff though...very cool.

Hey, I dont mind, I love derailing threads myself. But I felt this was a good cost effective way to get in-car GPS. And ofcourse I'll be showing it off at the pic-nic Z.
