I've now put online a formal Product Review Section. This new review section is not limited to new products, if you've done a home modification or cobbled something together that you'd like to share the "how-to" on, please do so!!!
The point of the section is to eventually get all modifications available for Marauder up onto the site in a structured format so that people can easily see just what is possible for their car and how it worked out for others that have tried the modification or part!
You can access the new REVIEWS Section by clicking HERE (http://www.mercurymarauder.net/reviews)!!!!
How ya like that? Two major new additions and the garage is fixed too!! :)

Great idea Logan. Any chance of having the ability to upload PDFs in addition to images? Would be nice to include product manuals (e.g., underbody lighting kit) for folks to peruse.

That's what I'm talking about!!! I think that would be a big hit. I'm having a hard time finding mods for the mm, maybe because it's so new I don't know. Helminc.com dosn't even make a mechanic manual for just the mm you have to buy the crown vic 04 manual and add lib "as with the engine". so anyway YOUR THE MAN thanks for the effort.

I copied the Remote Fuel Door instructions (from The Resource Room) in to see how it looked. It's really more set up for a product review. While pictures can be added, they won't appear within the text.
I don't know.....what do you think? Is The Resource Room not working? http://www.mercurymarauder.net/forums/forumdisplay.php?f=57

I think the Resource Room is just fine. I dunno how many people really know about it though. I think a lot of people just click 'New Posts' I know I do.

I for one was NOT aware of the resource room.
This leaves me at a loss, as I had a couple things I wanted to add....somewhere...
For instance, the HURST LINE LOC Install. Should it go in the resource room, or the 'Reviews' area?
If the 'Resource Room' is a better place to show some custom install items, should IT have a place in the home page hotlinks tool bar rather than the 'Reviews'?
Maybe BOTH should be on the tool bar......

Logan, this review section for mods is a great idea! In fact, it's so good I should have thought of it! :) No more digging around through the forum, (although the search tool works well) to find that mod thread I read a few months ago. I see there is already the speaker mod listed and one for Superchargers as well. Sweet! Keep up the good work!

Logan I tried to add the instructions for The TA girdle set to the section, but couldn't do it. I'll just post it here, and perhaps someone smarter than me could do it? I'm sure Wes would appriciate it.
http://www.mercurymarauder.net/forums/images/icons/icon1.gif TA Performance girdle install instructions
<HR style="COLOR: #dddddd" SIZE=1><!-- / icon and title --><!-- message -->1 Drain rear end of gear oil and remove stock cover.
2 Check all internal components for visible excessive wear, cracks, etc.
3 If using the OPTIONAL Bearing Cap Stud Kit do the following:
A. Remove original bolts holding the caps
B. Install Studs, and torque studs in to the housing to 10ft/lbs (120
in/lbs)
C. Re-Install bearing caps and torque nuts to 60-75ft/lbs,
4 Thoroughly clean the gasket surface of the housing.
5 For best results we recommend running a bottoming tap
through each bolt position. This will ensure that each bolt torques properly.
6 Back Load Bolts out to clear the bearing caps ,but do not remove them, failing
to do so may damage the cover or bearing caps.
7 Install the 74 Performance Rear End Girdle with the supplied gasket, bolts
and washers.
8 Torque the mounting bolts to25ft/lb
9 Screw the two load bolts in by hand until they make contact with the bearing
caps.
10 Torque the load bolts to 5 ft/lbs (60 in/lbs) MAXIMUM, excessive torque will
result in distorted bearing caps. DO NOT OVER TORQUE THE LOAD BOLTS! Then snug
the jamb nuts to lock the Load Bolt.
11 Fill the rear end with gear oil using the provided fill hole on the TA Rear
Cover, until fluid runs out of the factory fill hole on the side of the
differential
case.

How ya like that? Two major new additions and the garage is fixed too!! :)DR arranged for some of us to get the KVR 14" brake kit. I got mine for $1750 and couldn't be more pleased. Stopping power is awesome and the kit is a pure bolt-on, no cutting, grinding or bending. The kit works with the stock wheels and weights, it is a true add-on in that you just install it and you don't have to make any adjustments to original parts or accomodations like wheel balancing capability being downgraded and the DOT 5.1 fluid is compatable enough to just flush out the old without any need to clean all the old out of the system like the DOT 5 silicone type requires.
I am an ASE Master Technician and installed mine by myself, with a few special hand tools, in an afternoon.
Did you get the idea I can't say enough about how great this KVR kit is?
