You see guys different manufacturers have different ideas about how to survive a wreck. The VW subscribes to the the modern school of absorbing energy like an acordion: you loose the car but maybe you will survive (if hit by a Toyota). I, being a not so young guy prefer the old idea of surrounding myself with over 4000 lbs of steel with a full lenght steel H-rail frame and then let the VW and Toyotas bounce off me like a ping-pong ball. I may not write too well but I do know physics real good. :banana2:
