And we're not supposed to use the internet...but I am because the teacher can't see I finished all my work for the last week by yesterday.

There's 20 minutes left in class and I've been sitting for the last 25. I'm bored and this is really amusing. So what are you guys doing at your respective jobs?

Right now, I'm eating a corned beef sandwich at my desk, but it's been an interesting morning. Spent 1/2 an hour watching three building engineers hang a 2005 calendar on my wall. One engineer did the drilling and screwdriver stuff, the second squares the calendar and wipes off fingerprints, and the third pushes their work cart.

Doing AIDS research at the National Cancer Institute, and waiting for my time point with today's experiment.:) Also looking out the window, in my 5th floor lab, at South Mountain, and Haggas' garage. Hey Gordon, how come you rode your bike, to work today?

I took the day off because I had a dental appt. this morning,.. I'd would've rather gone to work!

I very briefly thought about going in after the appt. But then I thought,... what the hell for?! I've got about dozen Chinooks that I have to inspect,.. screw it,.. they ain't going anywhere!

Honestly Wes...that's the first thing that came to my mind as well!

Glad ya'll are having a great day...I finally got my cell-phone back from a teacher who confiscated it (it's illegal to have a cellular phone out in classes, no joke) and I watched Carson Scroggs curse around when he saw male genitals painted on all of the windows of his car...and a fresh dent. Yeah, I'd be pissed if someone did that to my 30 grand Xtera too!

I had twice as much lunch as everyone else...like every day. I asked my Chem teacher what my grade was after she called everyone out for not paying attention and "failing themselves". She said "Why are you worried...I was talking to the rest of the class"

Yes, gotta love Friday!

I had to take the Marquis to school today since I lost my van keys. I heard a few people ask "Hey James, is that your cop car?" and "Hey James, nice Crown Vic" and one "Hey look, James took his grandma's car to school today!"

Seriously, though, our set point is 50, but we wear leathers, and I added a windshield. What a difference. My bike's up at Snow Shoe, and we'll be doing most of our riding from there. We hope you and Chris can join us this summer, as it's a fabulous place to ride. That's an open invite to all the MM'ers.

Sorry :Offtopic: James

The Marquis belongs to my mom now, I almost always drive my dad's minivan, since he bought himself a Cobra. Couldn't find the keys to the van so I took my mom's car today, since she didn't need it. One, he bought it brand. Here's with everything he's got on his, and there's still more options you can have from the factory.

That's a union job for you. In the old days one Police Officer would do the job of all three. But the theory is put the Police Officer on patrol and replace him with a lesser paid civilian. It looks like it took 3 civilians to replace one Police Officer. Lesser paid I wonder.

It's not yet 4:30 AM, and up and at 'em. It's how we old geezers stay ahead of you youngsters. :P

Last day of Flintlock season, 36 degrees, hope the rain stops. Poor Barry and Cobra guy are headed into a sh$t storm, but the really bad stuff's to the east & south of them, hope they stayed north and crossed at Bennington.

Ugh !!!.

A bit late & not entirely on topic but ...

I've been entirely WAAAAAAY TOOOOO (insert expletive of choice here) busy.

Moving SUCKS.

Seems moving 5 miles away ... is almost as stressful as 1200(NJ-FL).

At least we are now building equity once again(owning) instead of paying someone elses mortgage/making them richer etc etc.

I SOOOOOOOOOOOOOO can't wait till this lil' vacation we are scheduled to go on :

http://www.msccruises.com/reservations/cruise.asp?id=-29475

Between ALL the muss & fuss that Hurricane Charley(& the others as well) caused this past year ... I just could'nt pass this up when our friend approached us with this deal(she's a travel agent).

We've only been on ONE other cruise in our lives ... this time we sprung for a balcony room.

I/we seem to agree ....

With a nice balcony room ... WHO CARES IF WE EVEN LEAVE THE SHIP WHILE IN PORT !!!!!!!!!!!!!!.

We will just be happy to have a DO NOTHING - RESPONSIBILITY FREE week to ourselves .... that we haven't had in SOOOOOO long.

Yikes ...

Just thinking & typing this out made me TIRED.

Eric - Congrats on your new home. :D Hope it has at least a 3 car garage.

Thanks.

THREE car - I WISH !!!.

It's a two car by design ... tho' in reality it's going to be nothing more than a ONE car for quite some time(the MM).

The Toro is in a storage unit here in Port Charlotte(& has been for almost the whole time I've owned it) ... & the LSC has been in a storage unit up in Venice since shortly after Hurricane Charley.

While I certainly could use more garage space for vehicles ... I could use it for general storage as well. I miss the BASEMENTS of up north something TERRIBLE.

I have a whole inner room full of boxes(supposed to have been an excercise room) ... many of which are CAR PARTS.

I'm really begining to think ...

"The pack rat" needs to transform into ... "mr gargae sale".

Ebay has got to be BOTH ...

One of the BEST things that happened to the car hobbyist - & the WORST at the same time.

Packing up my computer/office rooom to move was better than Xmas ... the things that I found that I completely FORGOT that I had ...

Oldsmobile THIS - Oldsmobile THAT ...

lol
