Howdy again, the CAM doo was fun, yesterday. First time for the article for me also. Um, I pocketed the 50K; it was a no-brainer.:)

WOW! There's a treasure trove of stuff there. The VT article is interesting, but a stroked and blown Marauder (hahaha that's just funny) could only muster 13.4 @ 104? This board is proof positive that ain't right...

:thinker: Some of the ads would look great in a frame. Anyone know where I could find the original source for this:

Look at what Kenny Bell advertised as the time on the Marauder S. They don't want to scare people with the REAL times. :) I run a 14 flat, and I don't have a blower.

I sent an inquiry to the webmaster. If he tells me the source of the artwork, I will share it with everyone.

But an aftermarket "tuner" (I'm not a fan of that term - it makes me think of TunerTransformation)
Maybe there are a couple of potential buyers who would say, "Naw, that's just too quick for me." But really, if they're going to shy away from power, they probably shouldn't have a high HP car, anyway. Whether it's whether it's 400, or 500, it's obviously too much for that person. Then there's everyone else that looks at this says "$30K over sticker for mid-13's? I'll pass, thank you..."
PS - They can keep these wheels... Stockers look too damn good to get rid of!

The webmaster and founder, (NEV), has kindly offered the original hi-res (SCANNED) image as posted above. He found it in an automotive magazine back when L/M was actually making the minimalist effort to advertise. Someone at Ford L/M must have the original artwork. Come on Ford employees...pull some strings and locate it!!!
He wishes to express his gratitude for our compliments regarding his site, and to pass on his liking of ours as well.
I will get the image out to everyone in a mass mailing when it arrives.
I don't about you guys....but if it's good enough...I'm off to kinkos.

I'd be curious to hear it. The '94-'96 Impala SS did sell very well.
That is the first article that I recall reading about the Marauder. And they are the only mag to get a sub 7 second 0-60 time.
