Just received notice from the Dodge website that these two new entries are ready to view. Many photos of both models.

Intakes on the 6.1(425 hp HEMI) SRT8 Magnum differ greatly from the 5.7(340 hp HEMI) Charger.

Here is the Charger:

I don't know but the first thing I thought of this AM when I saw these pic's was that the Charger looked like a fat, bloated, 4 door Mustang copy cat. Does anyone see that? Maybe I just need coffee. It made me also think that maybe the charge on the Charger was to run up against the Mustang and that's why they changed it from the original cool looking (to my eyes) 99 concept... ok I,m going for coffee...

Have never owned a Chrysler product. They do nothing for me.

Yes more coffee, But its like looking at a pianting and the more you look at it the more it changes. I can see the Mustang relation. Intrepid?? too. Neon. Viperish. Ramish. Its still not bad. But I guess this will end talk of the Camero coming back.

Put all those cars in a blender and you still have one that the starter is still turning over 2 miles down the road!

Just incase you guys don't know, I think you do. Anyway, the Charger is back in NASCAR. It replaces the Intrepid, which I think is a really good car. (For someone like me anyway.)

I have a hard time telling the new Charger from the 300C. I really liked the 99 concept. That was a good looking car, I would have considered buying one of those, but this... No way.

Dang Bruce, it does have that "bloated Mustang copy-cat" look. It needs :help: !

If you ask me, the "new" Charger looks like a good candidate for a taxi cab. Reminds me more of the old Checker cab's than a Charger.

I see a Stratus in that Charger

Patrick is right. The first thing I thought when I saw the photos was that they had ripped off the new mustang.

Looks like Dodge pinched a hot steamy one off and out plopped the Charger. :)
