Help!

Hey guys, I need some help
I asked my dealer to install the 4.10 gears from Reinhart and while they would like to do the work, but FMC is telling them that they can’t because it violates federal emission regulations. If any of you have had the 4.10 gears installed by a Ford dealer can you please reply to this with the name of the dealership you went to so that I can have my service manager speak to them. Or do you guys think I should just avoid this dealership altogether. Any help would be great.

I suggest you call Dennis Reinhart for names and numbers, his Marauder package is sold through dealerships in his Jacksonville FLA. area. It's probably your best angle of attack in terms of "official" support. Anyone that says a gear change affects emissions, is just plain stupid, or, looking for any excuse, however silly, to say no. I'd say go shopping for a mod friendly shop, maybe a Ford SVT dealership?

You could try Apple Valley Ford they are our local SVT dealers.

my svt dealer in n ill will do the gears but the chip will effect the emissions and they wont do it
