First, execute a few mods.

Then, throw in some careful tuning. Try not to get hurt during the tuning session.

Make sure to clean off your tires.

Daaaaamn !!! I'd still be 220 feet shy of the 1/8 mile marker when this guy finished his run and shut 'er down. Wow !!! Just goes to show .... someone is ALWAYS faster.

Yea but would you want to drive it down the track? I sure would. :burn:

But where are the cup holders?

Based on my knowledge of F-body weights, even if this guy was able to shave off 500 pounds (!) through removing some of the interior parts (it still appears to have the stock interior panels, though), it still would be pushing over 1550 horsepower through that drivetrain (before losses)!

He did manage to save one cupholder (passenger's door). Nothing says 'streetable' like a cupholder.

176.53 mph! That's how fast my WS6 would top out at, period! (if I was to remove the speed limiter - stock LS1s are limited to 162 mph, but in 1999 we tested a 1999 Firehawk at a government-owned test track oval about 5 minutes away from where I now live, with the only change being the speed limiter removed, and it could pull 175 mph on the straights, no more).

Haven't been able to identify the motor yet. Sometimes, based on the valve cover width, I start thinking it's a big block crate engine, modified to have the distributor horizontally oriented and up front, due to the cramped area at the rear of the engine bay. Can't really tell much else yet.
