Well,.. I've spent several days working on this.

It's very basic right now.... and I'm nowhere near being able to render a photo realistic MM.

This is the only way I'll ever be able to put a minigun on my car! :P

great rendering! I wish i could do something like that. If i knew how to do it, i'd render one then build a videogame around it!

I got bored at work one day and tried to do the same thing during my lunch break. However, I used a program called solidworks to make a 3D model. I did the wheels, tires, basic frame, body, and interior. I'm still working on it, but it somewhat resembles the car. Still working on refinements to the body though, all I did was do basic dimensioning off a photo, using things I knew the size of as a reference. Maybe someday it will resemble the actual thing.

Dude very sweet... I see that you are using Lightwave 7.0, I have copy of Lightwave 5.0 myself.
Did you start totally from scratch or did you use a Crown Vic model from a game to start with? If you did start with a Crown Vic model can you point me in the right direction? I have searched the web a couple of times with no luck finding a free LW 5.0 compatible model.

Keep up the great work I can't wait to see it finished.

I made it from scratch. I loaded some pics into the backdrop and used spline draw to make the correct shapes. I've spent the whole weekend including friday ( I called in sick :P ) working on this.

When I'm done, I'll e-mail ya the .lwo file.

I was working on the front end today here's a low detail pic.

No problem at at all! You have a lot more Lightwave experience than I do,.. I'm sure you do some really great stuff with it!

I think the file should work with your version.

Any more ideas for things we could do to a CG Marauder?

This would be the perfect model to design a cowl hood or hood scoop on. You'd actually be able to make it proportional and see something besides a hacked up photoshop project.
