Sorry for the Buick stuff...but I was looking through some pictures today and noticed some pictures you all might like, engines, turbos, slicks, and cool license plates.

Check the custom design on this...and the license plate...

Hello again. This looks like it hasn't gotten much attention, but I really don't mind. I was surfing through more pictures and came across something I found to be quite funny. It's never really happened to me before...

3 things in this next picture...

1.) Check the slicks...

2.) Check the exhaust behind the front wheel...

3.) Check out bubba with the video camera in the upper right of the picture!

Glad to see that the GNs are still going strong....I remember the late 80s when there were always GN vs 5.0 grudge match races at the drag strips.

Its funny that whenever I went to the dragstrip to run my 5.0 there were lots of Mustangs and GNs but very few IROC-Zs. I guess that the Camaro owners had gotten abused by both vehicles enough!!

Thanks for the positive responses guys!! We have an 11 second 87 Turbo Buick in the family, so I thought I'd share some race stuff. I know this whole website deal is "Ford" but the future wife is all about the Turbo Buicks. I gotta support both sides you know? I just don't want to race her anymore, she makes me look silly!! I need a blower, plus other serious mods to even keep up! Glad everyone liked the link, so here's a few more...

This is for all you major "piping" fans, see if you can make any sense of this...

How about this GS...representing us Buckeyes...

I wonder who's MM will be the first to pull a wheel stand like this...

http://www.gsnationals.com/images/GS_Nats_2004_May_19_B_169.jpg

This is what they call a "Rosewood", I believe it's an 87 T, saw this car make consecutive low 8 second passes look effortless. (Besides our MM's of course...I think this car is absolutely hardcore bada$$) Check the slicks...
And all from a V6...

I love the GNs. I really wanted one but could not afford it at the time. In fact, the first time I saw the "black out" look of the Marauder I couldn't help but think of the Darth Vader GN look:D

MPEARCE..always liked the GN for the most part. Never owned one but had a chipped 1987 version for almost a year in 1988 as work vehicle (unmarked police car) for auto theft pursuit work. We called it the stealth bomber. We eventually swapped chrome Regal bumpers and grille onto it to replace the blackout items so the bad guys would think that it was a garden variety Regal behind them (night time).... By the time they figuered out who it really was... "too late", the stealth bomber had locked onto them. Great chase car as long as things didn't get too twisty....(the suspension was a little twitchy). The brakes too proved to be a bit "iffy" after heating up during longer pursuits; in fact we once burst a large crack in the side of the plastic master cylinder reservoir during one particularly long, heated and spirited episode. The one other thing I disliked about the car was how quickly we seemed to go through the useful life span of the "whale oil" differential lube; during hard use periods we were lucky to get 1,200 miles out of a batch before the differential started locking up again. In early 89 lent the car to another group (vice) for a couple days and idiots totaled it. RIP STEALTH BOMBER.

If anyone wants to see the 87 Rosewood make a run...go to this page...

I think you've got to right click, save as to see them.

They're all impressive...

Enjoy,
