Out of the two choices we have, I'd go with the Kooks system. Get them coated aswell.

I have the Kooks headers also, along with the entire Kooks bolt-on exhaust package and the 18" magnaflow mufflers that they offer too, and I LUV thje way the car sounds. it isn't loud intil you put your foot into it. if you're just cruising easy, you don't hear it. I agree that you should definately have the headers ceramic coated no matter what. otherwise they WILL turn colors in a short time.

If you can afford the Kooks package that will be the way to go, the Cobra manifolds are nice also, I have Ford SVO Shorties; I think they look better than the manifolds, the gains are very solid; good sound, not as good as Kooks (or as loud) anything will be better than stock manifolds, if you get a complete package including mufflers.

I have to agree with Smokie on this one ,anything is better than the stock manifolds. If I were to do it over again I'd do the kooks. And take BillyGMans advice get them cermic coated.

I have the KOOKS and I love them. Whether coating is necessary is arguable. I didn't coat mine as I don't stainless still requires.

But that is my opinion and I am no expert.
