I had no idea what was behind the bumper(s), It looks really weird. Good luck on the project, hopefully you'll be pleased with the results.
BTW, the little girl, in our neighborhood, who caused an accident, then laughed about lying her way out of it, has, from time to time, found the concrete block that had smashed her windshield, on her hood in the morning. ;)
