Just installed a KB dead pedal. Sure is nice. I was use to the mustangs dead pedal and quickly realized that I missed it when I first bought the Marauder. If anyone has not yet put one of these in, i highly recommend it. Makes a very comfortable ride even more so.:D

I had never used one until I had this one put in the MM. Gives us long-time manual tranny users some place to put that extra foot. :D

How does the KBDP attach?? Is it simply screwed to the kick panel?

Ok...I'm not nuts then.
I put my KB DP in and its crooked. Not too much...but the top of it angles out more than the bottom.
Wierd.
Haven't had a chance to use it too heavily yet as the car is in storage....

You have to take the kick panel off and install a bracket. The kick panel goes back over the bracket and you drill two holes in it. The pedal itself attaches to the bracket that is rock solidly attached to the car BEHIND the kick panel.

Yeah what TAF said.....
If we play this right.... in about four more months there will be no more need to post anything on this site. Just use the search button.... everything that is worth posting about has already been posted .

Haven't had a chance to use it too heavily yet as the car is in storage....Me too. Noticed that the mount/bracket is cut and bent so that it is crooked. Kinda bother me a little until I drove the car. Again, having been use to the mustangs dead/lazy pedal, having it in the Marauder now is VERY nice.:)
Seems like everyone has responded well enough that I will not need to post pics. If anyone want a different angle, PM me.

While I was working on the bracket to move the dead pedal about 1" closer to the floor, I kind of tweeked the bracket a bit to make the angle less obvious in mine.

How did you do that? My bracket is cutand/or stamped. It seems like I would need to cut out the excessive portion that causes the angle, and then weld it up.

Not sure which part you're asking about, the angle or the position.
Position mod is documented in a post somewhere around here but basically I drilled 2 new holes in the bracket and welded nuts onto the back side. The angle change was done by clamping the bracket in a vise and prying on it with a big crescent wrench.

I'm going to do something simple to take care of the crookedness of the DP.
I'm going to add 2-3 washers on the bottom bolt to force it out a bit.

I agree. Specially good on the road course to keep my fat patoot planted in the seat.
