(only after you found out I got to keep the house.......:depress: )Submiting the divorce papers tomorrow, not interested in getting married next week but I will be in Atlanta next Wednesday/Thursday for a meeting at GT. Any recommendations for good eats in Atlanta or along the way? Heading to Jax on Friday for the weekend then back to Maryland on Monday. Should be a fun road trip.

Pappadeaux's is a great place to eat (seafood)
Then there's always good ol' southern BBQ....several good places
Or like I said, you could just join us for a nice country breakfast on Saturday morning! :D

If you're at GT...then you'll be in Midtown...The Varsity http://www.thevarsity.com/ "Whatduyahave, Whatduyahave" is a must for a quick lunch or late night burger/chili dogs. Another Midtown, Atlanta "institution" is Mary Mac's Tea Room, for some good 'ol Southern Comfort food. Not a lot of good Bar-B-Q in Midtown, though.
For more upscale dining in the Midtown area...there are LOTS to choose from, one of my favorites is Veni Vidi Vici http://www.buckheadrestaurants.com/vvv.html
Feel free to give me a call if I can be of any help while you're here 404.995.0995!

Thanks TAF and Kathy for the great recommendations and the invitation to breakfast. I think ya'll are meeting on this Saturday, the 19th. Our CAM meet is on Sunday the 20th. I won't be down 'til the 23rd. I have a friend's daugther's wedding to attend on Saturday afternoon, the 26th in Jax, otherwise I'd be there.
Think I'll try the local BBQ and local fare. I am staying in midtown, at the Marriott Residence Inn. I've heard of The Varsity before, sounds like a must...
Thanks again,
Shaun

I will definitely be there Saturday and I am interested in the dyno tune. I have my JLT installed.
Also, acquired a nice set of used MM rims with new mounted OEM BFG rear tires. They are on the MM and I am sending the original rims to be widened. Anyone interested in the rims and tires to do the same they will be available in about 3 weeks for $550 plus shipping or I can bring them to the next breakfast if anyone is interested in them.

Had a great time at breakfast, good to see everybody again. After my visit with Aric, my car shifts like it always should have. Not a bunch of slipping and sliding, just good firm shifts, like a 5 speed (4 gears then a t/c lockup). No more unlocking the t/c and then over-revving everytime I let off the gas and get back on it. Really enjoyed the drive back home!

Brian, glad to hear that your tranny is now performing. Do you have the Marauder Shift program in her now?
It was great to have seen everyone. I had to leave to go to Duluth to pick up my title for my new two seater.

I had a great time (as usual) at the breakfast. I was in town to inspect L.K.
It is always great to see my Marauder brothers and sisters. I was disappointed that Kathy didn't show. :(
I will be back again in two weeks (looks like the first weekend of March will be my next trip). Then I may start commuting back and forth from NY until FFW in April -- at least until Todd's family gets sick of me!! :P
Dan: The lights you made for my car looked great!!
Bob: Sweet new car! Color me jealous!!
Kathy: Color me disappointed.
Todd: Thanks for being my host as we did a whirl wind tour of the Waffle House, Cracker Barrel, Chik fil a, and Williamson's Bros. I am still full! You are Sir a great friend!
I hope to see all of you in a few weeks.

Marty, it was good to see you again. I hope that the remodelling of your house goes smoothly. It sounds like a great home.
Maybe once you are finished, we could have Southern Marauders meet in NY? We could cater Waffle House, Cracker Barrel, Chik fil a, and Williamson's Bros. for the event.

Set a date! If I survived the 70 or so teenagers I had at my house for my niece's Sweet Sixteen Slumber Party at the beginning of the month, I can survive a few middle-aged Marauderers. :P

Yep, it's the program that Aric worked up for the Marauders with torque converter upgrades. Works great.
Your new car is sweet. Not as nice as the old one, but lots more practical and prolly more fun since you don't have to be so paranoid about driving it. Congrats.

I mean, they DID come through on the enlargement money, didn't they?
