Trilogy MMs Gauges

With the upcoming Trilogy install on my MM, I feel the right gauges need to be installed. Here is what I've come up with after hours of searching here and on Summit.com. The boost gauge will aso be installed that comes with the kit. I will be going with the Autometer gauges to maintain a stock look.

No flames please, but your opinions are welcome.

Check on eBay for your gauges.
I purchased all THREE of my gauges from a seller called senlek.
He has a very good selection of Autometer stuff, and you could probably
get them all from him, and save some money on the shipping.

The products are NEW, in SEALED BOXES, and wrapped very well in a shipping box.

A/F is pretty useless. Fuell pressure? Put a gauge out in engine compartment. This isn't something you need watch from inside.

Where's your boost gauge?

You may want to consider oil temp or a water temp gauge.

...on a more serious note: I agree with Donny, that a air/fuel ratio gauge is kinda useless. That's probably why it seems to be pretty popular with the ricers. :rolleyes: I don't think that having a fuel pressure gauge is very helpful either, unless maybe you were running a carburetor. :D </P>

A boost gauge, voltmeter, and real oil pressure gauge is all I'd be interested in. just my opinion pal. </P></FONT></FONT></B>

"2+1" a-pillar guage pod? Are you thinking of using a 2-pod and installing a single pod right next to it? If so I don't think that'll work. They are both contoured to fit snugly at the lowest part of the a-pillar possible. If you try to install the pods too high, the edges will not correctly fit against the factory a-pillar. Maybe you already know this... I'm just putting it out there...

BTW: I feel that AF and FP should be necessities to go along with a real oil pressure guage. You maded the right choices. All are quite important to a supercharged application.

I thought that several members have mounted the '2+1' gauge pods on the A-pillar?

Thanks everyone. I will do alittle more homework on this before I spend money unnecessarily. There will be a boost gauge. I saw a triple gauge pod for the a-pillar in the gallery somewhere.... I thought a 2 and 1 pod was used... Like I said, more homework. Thanks again.

I'm not saying it's not possible, but some trim work and a heat gun will probably be needed to re-form the edges.

Other than a "real" oil presuure guage, I just have the boost guage on the a-pillar and love it!

Although I must say, Marty's set-up looks killer...:hmmm:
