It is a part number I got from the crown vic website. They claim it's a lincoln limo 31 spline axle. I have not seen the part, but I am investing if it will fit the Marauder. What are your thoughts ? :beatnik:

A standard Lincoln uses the same axle as a marauder. That number is listed for a Limo, they list a posi unit for Limo only too. I would imagine that's the difference is the 31 splines but our catolog doesn't state that.

Posi unit part number for Limo 2L2Z-4026-AA your cost $241.65. These parts would have to be special ordered. Special order parts are not returnable. Ray

Judging by the part #, that is an axle for a 1998 car. It would fit a 98 to 02 Panther. I believe the length of the axle shaft changed with the 2003 panther models and this axle shaft will be too short for our cars.

You may be correct. This is trial and error. The standard 2002 Town Car axle is the same part number as a marauder. They don't list a Limo axle for 2003. The 2002 Town Car Limo uses a different axle housing so it could be different.
