damn...... how much was semi and how much was jaws of life?

I had a friend here who was hit by another car, didnt look too abd but the doors were stuck shot, the cut the roof off, then the doors and quarters, looked worse than a figure 8 racer once the fire fighters were done!

I dunno.

Looks like blood in the "would be" center of the car?

Sure hope they were out of that car.

A lot of little police marker flags all over the area....that can't be good either.

Ya think?? :( I suspect that the CV pulled out of a side road onto the highway in front of the semi-trailer. Looks like he was broadsided about 3/4 of the way into his turn and that the truck tried to avoid him by pulling into the left lane (not quickly enough to avoid the wreck) and ending up off the left side of the road. That's my thoughts .. :twocents:

My local car expert (Son of Bluerauder [S.O.B.]) says the car in question is a pre-1996 Grand Marquis not a Crown Vic.

The (unscathed) right taillight shows that it is a 92-94 style Grand Marquis. I should know, I used to have 2 of them.

The undamaged right taillight was also the key for the S.O.B.; but he could only place it to before 1996.

I think you're right on that one Barry. When I interned with the NTSB in college on airfraft accidents, the coroner used the same technique to identify the people.
