Is it really true? Because it runs and moves like someone in a suit.If it is truely magnificent modern technolgy..
Be nice to own one but i would be afraid it would want to use my MM :duel: , Then what?

Getting a robot to walk and/or run like a person is still a major challenge to technology. Most are still at the "waddling" stage. This video is guys in suits. :D

I concur. Looks like a person running.

The tip off was the flinch when incoming fire was clipping the wall corner he was behind. Even if they were programming in human characteristics, I doubt fear would be one of them. :uzi:

I for one welcome our new robot overlords and I promise that I will serve them well and keep them informed about human insurgency.

Looks like CGI to me. It is an interesting concept however.

I agree with the other assessments - this is not a legit video, but cool, none-the-less...

Most of the moving robots have been multi-legged, lick an insect. Honda's Asimo is propbably the best two-legged walker, I've seen... Check out this video of it (http://cdecas.free.fr/robots/images/asimo-stairs.avi).

If you’re interested, then you should check out the Honda Asimo Site (http://world.honda.com/HDTV/ASIMO/index.html). There's some cool videos of it obstacle avoidance, visual and force sensors, autonomous movement and "running" like a middle-aged Japanese woman at 3 km/hour.
