Heading back home from the ATL, weather perfect, light traffic, XM radio keeping me company. I snap off a few shots of the dash and my digitals in the console.

All is right with the world.

Pretty cool night pics Donny......below are some pics of my MM......one is a day shot of the speedo and tach. In that one you'll notice that the tach reading is about in the same place as yours is in your pic, however it's while my speedo is ten MPH slower which is ofcourse due to the 4.56 gears I have. Then there's one with my MM high in the sky up on jackstands which was when I was doing the gear change back in the summer of 2003.

You'll also see a pic of my boost gauge. If you look closely, you might be able to see that it was taken while the gauge was reading 10 PSI of boost pressure. And the other pic taken from the back of the car shows off those cool P305 Nitto drag radials

Nice pix Donny. Judging from the RPMs and Speedo, you and BillyG are NOT running the same gear ratios.:)

Nice pix Donny. Judging from the RPMs and Speedo, you and BillyG are NOT running the same gear ratios.:) Judging by the RPM's that Donny's engine is at while at 80 MPH, I'd have to say that he has 4.10 gears. (assuming that he was in O/D during that shot).

An excellent observation. :up:The pics shown in this thread are as about as much proof as you can get over the internet that 4.10 gears in the rear end housing of a Marauder are just fine even for highway cruising. It makes me laugh when I hear stories about how some marauder owners are being told that installing 4.10 gears would take their cars off the highway, and cause the engine to rev way too much for highway cruising. Look at Donny's pic. He's at a very comfortable criuse speed of 80 MPH with the tachometer at merely 2,750 RPM's. And I think that 80 MPH is plenty of speed for continued and prolonged cruising. People who say that 4.10's are too much for highway cruising are unaware of the effects of overdrive transmissions, and 28" tall tires such as the Marauder has. ofcourse without an overdrive gear, and very tall tires, 4.10 gears would be too much for the highway, but not on a Marauder.
