I was really enthralled by the FluidDampr, and wanted to use one on the Shelby 'FE' my brother & I built for our Cobra. But our engine builder (who builds racing engines and LOTS of 'FE' big blocks said: "DO NOT USE the FluidDampr!".
He highly recommended the ATI Dampner, which we ended up using. When I asked him why he didn't like the FluidDampr, he said that he's seen too many FluidDampr equipped 'FE's come back to him damaged...especially in cooler weather.
We did have to modify the bolt holes on the crank pulley in order to bolt it onto the ATI Dampner. We used a 'March' Aluminum Crank Pulley.

Thnx Joe, after talking to ATI, the guy was honest enough to say just have my stock harm damper rebuilt with silicone, fine for what I am doing, 5200 and under.
